Do you live in or near Hamilton, MT? Join Katie Woods, lead instructor for First Aid Outdoors, for free, monthly knowledge sessions to learn and practice invaluable medical skills—before you need them.

Unless otherwise noted, sessions will be held at the Bitterroot Public Library* or lawn if weather permits. Registration is not required, but greatly appreciated.

Teens (13-17) are welcome with supervising adult.

How to Build a Rockstar Splint
Splinting is one of those skills that ends up being harder than it looks when you actually have to put it into practice! Look good, play good, right?

Join us for an hour of learning general guidelines for any splint and even ways to improvise using the materials you might have with you. At a minimum, you'll leave with the skills to build an upper arm rigid splint, sling, and swathe. If there's time, we can practice lower extremity as well.
